Structural Analysis (Beta) - Finite Element Analysis Tool for Engineers
Structural Analysis (Beta) is a web-based application developed by NewBauhaus41 that offers a basic HTML5 Finite Element Analysis (FEA or FEM) tool for engineers. This software utilizes the stiffness method and includes an optimization tool for selecting optimal steel sections based on prescribed criteria such as minimum weight or section height.
The application features a grid system for drawing, allowing users to easily create and modify structural models. It also offers the ability to export drawings in PNG and PDF formats, as well as the option to print to Cloud Print or save designs to Google Drive as PNG files. Users can zoom in and out to examine their designs in detail and export input settings as HTML files for documentation purposes. Additionally, the application provides output in various formats, including txt files for analysis results.
The output of the Structural Analysis (Beta) application includes axial forces, shear forces (in-plane and out-of-plane), bending moments (in-plane and out-of-plane), torsion, deformations (in-plane and out-of-plane), reactions, and various matrices related to the structure's stiffness, location, load, member, global displacement, and member end forces. This comprehensive output allows engineers to analyze and optimize their structural designs effectively.
Please note that Structural Analysis (Beta) is currently in the beta phase of development and may contain some limitations or bugs. However, it provides a valuable tool for engineers looking for a web-based finite element analysis solution.
